Terms of Use

Freelantant is an assistant for freelancers: it records your jobs, tracks unpaid amounts, can send WhatsApp payment reminders you enable, and syncs your work to your calendar. Your clients are not users of the service and never need an account.

You must sign in to use Freelantant and are responsible for your account and the accuracy of the data you enter. You must be an adult using the service for professional or business purposes. Keep your credentials secure.

• In-app purchases (App Store / Google Play) are billed by Apple or Google and governed by their terms. Manage or cancel them in your store account.
• Website subscriptions are billed through Stripe. A free trial may apply; unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription renews at the then-current price for the selected period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
• Prices are shown before you confirm. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

You agree not to misuse the service, including: sending unlawful, harassing, or unsolicited messages via the reminder feature; uploading content you have no right to share; attempting to breach security or access other users’ data; or using the service to break any applicable law. You are responsible for the messages you send to your clients and for having a lawful basis to contact them.

You retain ownership of the data and content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you (for example, storing your records and processing content through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy). Content you mark public may be shown to anyone with the link.

The service relies on third parties (Google/Firebase, Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, Meta/WhatsApp, Google Vertex AI). Your use of features that depend on them is also subject to their terms. Apps distributed via the App Store are additionally subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Freelantant is a record-keeping and reminder tool and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or debt-collection services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes of reminders or messages you choose to send.

We may update the service or these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account). Account deletion is subject to a 30-day grace period during which signing in restores your account; after 30 days it is permanent (see our Privacy Policy). Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription — cancel that separately in the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
