Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your freelantant account and all of its data at any time. The fastest way is inside the app; if you can no longer sign in, email us and we’ll handle it for you.

Delete inside the app (fastest)
  1. 1Open the app and go to Settings.
  2. 2Tap “Delete account”.
  3. 3Type “delete” to confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion right away.
Before you delete

30-day grace period

For 30 days after you request deletion, your account is deactivated but recoverable — just sign in again within that window and choose Restore. During this time your public profile is hidden and all reminders stop.

What gets deleted

After 30 days everything is permanently and irreversibly erased: your jobs and income records, clients, categories, recurring templates, public profile and testimonials, uploaded photos and files, payment and reminder links, calendar feed, and your sign-in credentials. This cannot be undone.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it yourself in the App Store or Google Play (for in-app purchases), or via your Stripe receipt (for web purchases), so you aren’t billed again.

Legal retention

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting). See our Privacy Policy for details. Privacy
